In addition to wired WAN Ethernet connectivity and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi, this router has a built-in Cat 6 LTE Advanced modem that supports major cellular data providers throughout North America and around the world.

This updated version of the compact Pepwave BR1 Classic mobile router has all of the advanced capabilities of its predecessor. It can be integrated into your existing firewall or set up as a standalone router at remote sites. If the wired WAN connection goes down, SpeedFusion technology will keep the MK2 connected as it auto-switches to Wi-Fi as WAN or LTE service. You can even add SIM cards from multiple carriers for redundant back-up, border crossing or to avoid hitting data caps.

The industrial-grade MAX BR1 MK2 embedded router is ideal for ATMs, kiosks, surveillance, first responders, healthcare and other situations where constant connectivity is needed. You can also manage vehicle fleets remotely thanks to built-in GPS tracking with InControl 2 cloud management (included for the first year). Its rugged metal enclosure and high temperature threshold mean it can be deployed in environments ranging from server rooms to commercial vehicles. It is also certified for shock and vibration resistance, electromagnetic compatibility and railway applications. This means it can be used on trains, at construction sites and in other harsh situations.
